Position Description

Cornerstone Medical Clinic is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner. If you are looking for a respected family practice that has been serving Anchorage for 25 years, with a panel of patients ready for you to partner with, then Cornerstone Medical Clinic would like to talk to you.  We are a relational practice which provides a relaxed pace of 10-15 visits a day (per Provider). You will work with an experienced team of Physicians, support staff and an organization that makes “nurturing the caregiver” a priority. Our long term ANP is retiring and you will have the opportunity to step into a ready-made practice.  The opportunity to shadow the retiring ANP is possible if you act without delay. Additionally, you may be provided with a Scribe should you maintain higher daily demand. In the coming 18 months we will be moving into our new facility and you will have the opportunity to speak into the design of the clinic!

Cornerstone Medical Clinic is part of Christian Health Associates.  We are a faith based (nondenominational) healthcare nonprofit serving Anchorage, Alaska, and worldwide for 25 years.  Visit

Patients are scheduled in advance.  No weekends.  Eight holidays, generous PTO as well as assistance with Health Insurance premiums.  CME allowance, Malpractice Coverage, and additional costs covered. No inpatient management or on call coverage required.

Practice Hours: Monday-Friday 8am – 4:30pm

Work Schedule: This is a full-time salaried position

  • Competitive salary
  • 2+ weeks paid time off, CME and 8 holidays per year the first year (goes up from there!)
  • $2,500/year CME allowance

Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Nursing; Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (ANP or FNP) by an approved national certifying body; Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certification; State of Alaska Advanced Practice Nurse License; minimum 2  years’ experience as an advanced level provider managing full scope Family Medicine patients in an outpatient setting; astute clinical skills; superior communication and relationship building skills; adaptable team player; confident in managing patients.
