The Chief Clinical Officer plays a vital role in fostering a compassionate, patient-centered environment where healing and recovery thrive. With a deep commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and whole-person care, the Chief Clinical Officer brings a holistic perspective that honors the essential role of family, culture, and support systems in each individual’s recovery journey.
In this impactful leadership role, the Chief Clinical Officer collaborates with Division leadership to drive quality and clinical improvements that elevate the standard of care across programs. This position is pivotal in steering risk management and accreditation efforts, ensuring the division's highest quality assurance standards. The Chief Clinical Officer also provides expert consultation to treatment teams, reviews key admission decisions, and offers direct psychiatric care—including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)—to participants in both outpatient and residential settings, supporting each client within our client’s comprehensive continuum of care.
Required experience:
Licensed in the State of Alaska in one of the following:
Physician
Professional counselor
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
Clinical Social Worker
Marital and Family Therapist
Psychologist
Psychological Associate
Must maintain required continuing education credits for both Clinical License and Clinical Supervisor
Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience providing relevant patient care
Must have current CPR certification and proof of active CPR certification prior to employment or within 30 days of starting employment.
Obtain Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP) approval within three (3) years of the Provisional Provider Application approval date with the State of Alaska
Preferred:
Board certified in addiction medicine or addiction psychiatry.
