Greetings Alaskan APRNs,

You are being invited to take part in a research study is to assess the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of Advanced Practice Nurses and Certified Nurse Midwives concerning gestational diabetes mellitus. The principle investigator is Diana Wooden, MSN, RN, Doctor of Nursing Practice student at Western Kentucky University School of Nursing.

This survey is voluntary and confidential. The web-based questionnaire uses a secure socket layer (SSL) protocol that provides online security and your information will be encrypted and anonymous. It should take you approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. The risk to participating in this project is the inconvenience of taking the time to answer the questions. There are no financial costs to you associated with participation in this study. The benefits of the study will be the chance to improve the health and health education of women.
