February General Membership Meeting 2/9/22

Please join us for February's General Membership Meeting. We will be joined by Dr. Marianne Johnstone-Petty DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, ACHPN, a nurse practitioner who has been with the Providence Medical Group Palliative Care Department for 9 years. She recently began work within a DHSS Physician Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment (POLST) Education Workgroup chaired by Dr. Ursula Mcveigh. They have coordinated with ASHNA to develop the educational materials for the transition from Comfort 1 to AK POLST. Marianne will be giving us an update on the changes and the language in this new regulation that directly affects APRN care.

We welcome all APRNs to participate in the conversation about a topic that is vitally important to end of life planning, and we encourage students to join in!
