About the preceptor Treasure is looking for:

Located near Johnston, RI.

My name is Treasure Asian and I am currently a Master’s student at Chamberlains School of Nursing in the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program. Chamberlains School of Nursing has a long-standing reputation for excellence in nursing education, practice, informatics and research; it is distinctive in that it strongly encourages its students to seek clinical experience during their final year in the locale where they hope to settle and launch their careers. For me, the clear choice is Rhode Island. I am also licensed in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. I am reaching out to you to ask if I can serve your practice and build my nursing skills as a student in your clinic in March 2023. I have to complete a total of 125 hours in a Urgent care or fast track area and my preceptor could be an NP, PA, MD or DO.
I have been an emergency department nurse, an operating room nurse and I still am an intensive care registered nurse. Over the last year and a half, I have been a traveling Intensive Care nurse in different hospitals in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New York. The majority are magnet institutions. My strengths are patient care, prioritizing care and being able to do so in an efficient manner.
I can absolutely email my resume to you so you can learn a bit more about me and my experience. I have also included the course objectives for the clinical work I would be doing with you. I would be happy to provide you with any further information you might need and to connect you to my faculty advisor.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to the potential of working with you and learning from you.

Kind regards,
Treasure Asian, BSN, RN
